Camp Archbald

Camp Archbald

Archbald Road | Kingsley, PA 18826

Camp Archbald, located in Susquehanna County in the woods of Endless Mountains in northeastern Pennsylvania, is steeped in tradition and the echoes of girls who have been singing campfire songs and telling stories to keep those traditions alive year after year. The grounds include forests, fields and a spring-fed glacial lake.

Founded in 1920, Camp Archbald is the second oldest Girl Scout camp in the country! In the summer, overnight accommodations can house up to 307 people. In the winter, established units can accommodate 156 people. There is also space available for up to 500 people for daytime events. Details about available rental facilities are listed below.

Challenge Course Facilitators use initiatives, low course and high course elements to enhance self-confidence, promote positive group dynamics, expand problem-solving abilities and increase levels of communications. You’re a perfect fit to become a Challenge Course Facilitator if you are interested in challenging yourself and others; enjoy the outdoors; are willing to work and live with others; and want to contribute to Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania’s program offerings. You should also enjoy working with all ages, be responsible and have a sense of humor. Experience is not necessary and training will be provided. You must be at least 18 years old and able to successfully complete the volunteer screening process. Call 800.692.7816 for more information.
