Girl Scout Bronze Award

Welcome to the Girl Scout Bronze Award - Journey Style! A leadership adventure for Girl Scout Juniors across the country and around the world. Imagine what you can accomplish when you team up with others and use your special skills and interests to take action and make a difference in the world!

As you can tell, this Girl Scout Bronze Award adventure is big—in fact, this award is the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. As you and your team plan and complete your project, you’ll develop more confidence, meet new people, and have the kind of fun that happens when you work with other Girl Scouts to make a difference.

 Important Steps:

1. Download the Bronze Award booklet and read it thoroughly before you start. (Note: Girls may complete any Junior Leadership Journey as a prerequisite for the award).

2. Contact your Membership Associate to discuss your Bronze Award Take Action Project idea.

3. Finish the Take Action Project and submit the signed Final Report before the girls become Girl Scout Cadettes or before they begin 6th grade.

4. After you complete the Bronze Award Take Action Project, ask your Membership Associate to approve and sign your Final Report.

5. Mail your Final Report to Girl Scouts Heart of Pennsylvania, Program Department, 350 Hale Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17104.

6. Include payment if you would like to purchase your Bronze award pins at the same time. Pins are no longer available in retail locations because you must seek award approval before purchasing them.

We are glad you decided to take the journey to earn your Girl Scout Bronze Award.  If you need help along the way, call 800.692.7816.
