Camp Happy Valley

Founded in 1955, Camp Happy Valley is located just outside Gettysburg. The camp is divided by upper camp and lower camp. Upper camp offers Skyloft and Gobbler's Glen, both are year-round accommodations. The lower portion of camp has Aspen Lodge with year-round housing and seasonal use of Applewood.

Overnight accommodations can house 140 people and an additional 14 spaces available for tents at Little House & Sleepy Hollow Shelter. Winter capacities can hold up to 92 people.

Aspen Lodge
  • Lodge with sleeping accommodations for up to 32 people on mattresses on the floor and cots
  • Fully equipped kitchen with hot and cold running water
  • Central heating
  • Bathrooms with showers and flush toilets
Gobbler's Glen
  • Sleeping for 12 people on bunk beds or cots
  • Kitchen with refrigerator, sink  stove and microwave
  • Two bathrooms each with a shower and flush toilet
  • Year round hot and cold running water
  • Central heating
Skyloft Lodge (Sunrise Unit)
  • Lodge with sleeping accommodations for up to 24 people on bunk beds and mattresses on the floor
  • Fully equipped kitchen with hot and cold running water
  • Central heating
  • Bathrooms with showers and flush toilets
Skyloft Lodge (Sunset Unit)
  • Lodge with sleeping accommodations for up to 24 people on bunk beds and mattresses on the floor
  • Fully equipped kitchen with hot and cold running water
  • Central heating and fireplace
  • Sunset unit is handicapped accessible
  • Bathrooms with showers and flush toilets

 
Applewood Unit
  • Cabin Unit with sleeping accommodations for up to 24 people on bunk beds
  • Kitchen shelter with stove, refrigerator and seasonal running water
  • Latrines and washstand located nearby

Fawn Haven Pavilion
  • Pavilion with stove, refrigerator and frost-free hydrant (available for day use only)
  • Fire circle located nearby
  • Latrines and washstand located nearby

Little House & Sleepy Hollow Shelter
  • Tent camping site with sleeping accommodations for up to 24 people.
  • Shared kitchen shelter with stove, refrigerator, microwave and seasonal running water
  • Fire circle located nearby
  • Latrines and washstand located nearby
